Ashby Sets Registration, Early Voting Deadlines for State Primary
ASHBY — Ashby residents have a narrowing window to prepare for the September 1 State Primary, with the town clerk's office opening absentee voting and setting registration and early-voting deadlines this month, while two town boards posted new meeting notices for the week ahead.

The Town Clerk's office is now accepting absentee and vote-by-mail ballot applications for the September 1 State Primary, which runs from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Ashby Elementary School. Residents have until Saturday, August 22 to register to vote in the primary, and the clerk's office will offer in-person early voting from August 22 through August 27. Separately, the Conservation Commission posted an agenda for a virtual meeting set for Tuesday, August 18 at 7:30 p.m., to be held online via Zoom, with connection details and etiquette guidelines posted to the town website. The Trustees of the Ashby Free Public Library also released an agenda for an in-person meeting August 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the library's event space.
