Ashby Town Clerk Sets Key Dates for September 1 Primary

Ashby's Town Clerk opened the election calendar for the September 1 State Primary, confirming that absentee and vote-by-mail ballots are available now and laying out registration and early-voting deadlines for residents.

The Town Clerk's office announced that absentee and vote-by-mail ballots for the September 1 State Primary are available now, with applications found on the town's website, www.ashbyma.gov, or by contacting the Town Clerk directly at 978-386-2424, extension 121, or tclerk@ashbyma.gov.

The last day to register to vote in the primary is Saturday, August 22. Residents who prefer to cast a ballot before Election Day can do so during in-person early voting, held August 22 through August 27 at the Town Clerk's Office. The State Primary itself is set for Tuesday, September 1, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Ashby Elementary School.
