Ashby Voter Registration for State Primary Closes Aug. 22

Ashby residents have until Saturday, Aug. 22, to register to vote in the Sept. 1 State Primary, according to notices posted this week by the Town Clerk's Office, which is also opening six days of in-person early voting later that month.

TOWN HALL The Town Clerk's Office says the last day to register to vote for the September 1 State Primary is Saturday, August 22. In-person early voting will run August 22 through 27 at the Town Clerk's Office; specific hours are posted on the town website, www.ashbyma.gov. Absentee and vote-by-mail ballots have been available since August 3 for residents who prefer not to vote in person.

The State Primary is set for Tuesday, September 1, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Ashby Elementary School. Residents with questions can reach the Town Clerk's office at 978-386-2424, extension 121, or tclerk@ashbyma.gov.
