Planning Board Convenes Virtually Tonight for July Session
The Planning Board holds a virtual meeting tonight at 7 p.m., the latest in a string of summer online sessions for Ashby's town boards.
TOWN HALL
The Planning Board will meet online this evening, July 8, at 7 p.m., following the Conservation Commission's virtual session held the previous evening, July 7, at 7:30 p.m. Both meetings are being conducted remotely via Zoom, with meeting documents available on the respective board pages at the town website. Residents can join the Planning Board meeting using Meeting ID 876 0964 1256 and password 983732.
Elsewhere in town operations, the Town Clerk's office posted its hours for the week of July 6-9. The Highway Department continues to ask residents to report potholes by calling 978-386-2424, ext. 123, as the town works through what it calls "New England's fifth season."
Two town job postings remain open: a part-time seasonal Cemetery Worker to help maintain Ashby's three town cemeteries, with applications going to Barbara Thorpe at tabos@ashbyma.gov, and a part-time Inspectional Office Administrative Assistant position. The town also reminds residents that transfer station permits, at $50 per year, are available for purchase online or in person.
